Preparation for Your Bridal Consult
- Bring a picture that you like of yourself to show me what
type of makeup you normally wear.
- Pick out pictures out of magazines to show me what kind of
makeup you are looking for on your big day!
- Please plan to have your make up done before your hair if
possible.
- Pack a small kit for your wedding day - include tissues,
q-tips, a mirror, a pressed powder and your lip color!
For Everyone
- Make-up only looks as good as the skin underneath. Start
caring for your skin today, right away, to prepare for your
important day. I strongly recommend receiving a facial
ten days prior to your special event day as well as an express facial one
day prior to your wedding.
- Consider having your eyebrows professionally shaped — it
makes a huge difference!
- Want sparking eyes for your pictures? Bring along eye drops
to help create that bright, clear-eyed look. Another trick,
false eyelashes can really help your eyes pop in your
photos!
- If you’re wearing a white dress, help your skin look its
best, no matter what your skin type. Be sure to exfoliate
before your event — full body scrubs and wraps are the way
to go! It will help you sweat less, make you less likely to
stain your dress, and help you stay 'fresher' longer. Plus,
you’ll enjoy the special TLC.
- Get a massage. It’s the best investment you can make in circulation enhancement, stress reduction, and finding that
special state of mind to ease into your ceremony and reception.
- Drink lots of water. A hydrated system is a healthy one. Wear sunscreen. A burned and peeling bride is less than
ideal. Take care to cover hairlines, ears, and bathing suit marks. Remember: 90 percent of all fine lines and winkles
are caused by sun damage.
- Whiten your teeth. Your smile is put to work on these special occasions. There are plenty of products that whiten
your teeth. And, its one of the easiest and most affordable treatments that you can do from home.
